I was always told by my instructor when doing my painting and decorating course to sharpen wallpapering scissors to cut sand paper several times emery cloth is the best I have found though great video as always 👍

When I was being taught to fit carpets, my tutor had a saying, "That's good enough isn't good enough, perfect will do, but only just". He was a great guy and I couldn't have had a better tutor.

I use a knife with a round blade for sandpaper,works very good.

Cutting sandpaper with scissors tends to sharpen the scissors.

I made a China mans hat for my sisters chimney (oil fired) from a supermarket frying pan, minus handle! Hope thats a useful tip to someone.

let me add a little from me: when you make templates out of cardboard, for thin metal, take cardboard the same thickness as the metal for sheathing, this will avoid some excesses.

No definitely not, OK for insulation but the outer cladding needs to be metal.

Maybe not, but completing one when all the difficult work has been done is simple enough .......that is why this series starts with the word "Completing" and not "Building" . . . . . .
