For the coelacanth, I’m pretty sure Dagnel said you can’t actually catch it in winter in New Horizons. The game lies to you, saying you can get it year round when you can’t. It says rain only but you obviously can’t get rain in winter, and apparently snow doesn’t count as rain :(

i believe you can only catch coelacanth in rain, and not snow. the critterpedia says otherwise but people went in the code and discovered this. that's why you couldn't catch one at 1:20

it's actually a good idea to buy turnips when daisy mae is selling them at a higher price, as that puts your potential turnip selling prices higher! for example, buying at the max of 110 will put the maximum selling price of a large spike at 660 bells per turnip :)

Im still watching the last part of this, and haven't seen this yet, so you mightve learned this already, but rn I dont have time to watch this vid and I want to comment this now because my ADHD brain will forget, Tip for the Stalk Market: It's actually better to buy for higher prices from daisy mae. For the large spike turnip pattern, which is the pattern that will give you the best selling prices, the game just multiplies the buying price from daisy mae by a certain number. Her range of prices is always 90 to 110. I forget what the number the NH multiplies by but I think its either 3, 4, or 5? I know for a fact in gamecube the number is 5. But either way the buying price is always multipled by the same number for a large spike. Therefore, buying for lower makes the large spike lower as well, and since its done by multiplication, if you buy higher the spike will also be higher then if you bought for lower due to how multiplication works. So Basically, buying for more makes you sell way more in a large spike pattern then buying for less.

Do you have any tips on how to pull yourself out of burn out with the game? I struggle a lot and always end up restarting but when I have to do the whole tutorial stage of the game I get burnt out again 😅
