I'll do the trick instead, I am a firm hater of shotguns in EVERY SINGLE GAME EVER CREATED, so I found a way to do setup without a shotgun. I use the MP-18, it counts as a shotgun AND bolt-action rifle. So I'm able to do both Setup and Tarkov Shooter questing at the same time, without being forced into shotguns . I love life sometimes.

Day 1 of Setup: I have collected five Ushanka hats, have a bunch of slickers lying around, got Jaeger to level 3 and access to flechette. Since MP-18 is also viable, I bring that as a secondary with a cheap scope to maybe wrap this up from range. MP-18 approach too boring, camping is not fun, got mobile. Played five raids, died five times, each time coming face to face with PMC's and spraying their face with flechette shells. Death screen says I barely landed any shots but watching recordings clearly shows two or three full blasts landing. Of the five deaths, traded twice. Frustrated to the point of quitting Tarkov then and there. Day 2 of Setup: Three Ushanka hats are back in insurance, found two more questing around. Ditch the flechette approach, go with .50 BMG slugs. First raid, five PMC kills and a survive. Second raid, three PMC kills and a survive. I'm never doing that quest with flechette ever again. BMG slugs or bust.

It only works on the train tracks. If you run down the side of the tracks like that the sniper still shoots you. And just to be safe, I always shoot the flare at a 45 degree angle toward the direction of the extract while standing at the back of the idle trains. Good luck, fun video!

Whatever side your gun is on, your head is way less visible when peaking that side. If you peak left with your gun on the right, the enemy will see you way before you see them.
