Ya know, I was kind of on the fence about this game, but now that I've seen the exemplary shovel-work; I'M SOLD! 😉😂 In all seriousness, yeah I think this will be just as fun as the first one and I'm definitely looking forward to the full release.

I cannot wait for early access. The story and gameplay are solid, altho I've not played myself but one thing I've noticed is there's not a huge diff between weapons? However, as I said, it's solid, and I can't wait to see MORE in early access. There's so many tantalizing teasers they've left us!

The range dif between the weapons is noticable by itself. But the main difference is in the omega attack and special. Line attack vs dash behind enemy. Big, ranged aoe blast vs fan of knives. And the way each of these interacts with the daedalus hammers and boons provides a big variety in how runs feel/are played.

Supergiant just announced that the Technical Test ends this Monday and the Early Access begins soon after. So this ain't a goodbye, is just a see you later!

one thing i find pretty cool/ interesting is that hephaestus and aphrodite’s boons seem pretty synergistic (both being damage reduction/defensive) and they were married in greek mythology, maybe intentional?
