Sir, if a function satisfies the CR equation, it is not neccessary that it will be analytic. Take f(z)=xy only.

Since CR equations are necessary conditions not sufficient so I think if a function satisfying CR equations we can't definitely say that it is analytic. But if it isn't satisfying CR equations then we can say that it's analytic

CR equation is necessary condition for *differentiability* rather than analyticity at a point. For ex consider f(z)=|z|^2 it satisfies CR condition only at (0,0) so it is differentiable at (0,0) but not analytic because for analyticity at (0,0) it should be differentiable at (0,0) and in its neighborhood,but CR condition is satisfied by it only at (0,0) so it is not analytic at (0,0).

1. In order to understand this you first have to appreciate that complex numbers are not something which are "imaginary numbers" (here imaginary is used as an adjective) rather they are very much real. We call i (iota) imaginary not because we consider it imaginary in real sense of the term rather "imaginary" word is used only as a noun. Complex numbers are the extension of the number system. The only difference is we cannot intuitively comprehend complex numbers in the same way we comprehend real positive numbers. Even in case of negative numbers we first assign some meaning (like borrowing money etc.) to them then only we comprehend it better. 2. Real numbers deal with matter. For any positive real number "x" we can at-least bring a piece of wire whose length is x. In this sense the real numbers have real existence. On the other hand we cannot produce a wire whose length is (a+ib) but wire is not the only real thing in the world out there.There are some physical quantities for eg. impedance of a coil which can be studied conveniently only by considering them as "imaginary numbers". 3. With due respects, 11 mts onwards the equation is incorrect, viz f'(z) = du/dx + idv/dx, the i component of dv/dx has not been considered, pls clarify
