Hello Jay, I suggest you investigate on the internet or if you prefer on KZbin that may be easier, because there are many opinions on that subject. I think that may be more appropriate than asking here. But I can tell you that depends on what you do specifically, and what do you want to do with the program. Both can do 3d modeling and 2s planing, but skp is not BIM.

If you are doing structural, WHY start with the architectural template? You should tell people to use the correct template!

I recommend watching a structural designer or drafters videos on revit structure not an architect.
