It’s so reassuring to hear someone else be open about not “living and breathing” one particular artistic medium or niche. I’ve felt like I’m “all over the place” since I can remember and not particularly attached to one thing and I’ve always perceived that as a flaw, that I’m supposed to buckle down and master one (or a couple) of skills that are going to lead me to some higher purpose. Maybe it’s okay to just explore and be…

It’s more than okay to explore different mediums and ways to do art forms you’re interested in. Me personally, i “live and breathe” hip hop, it’s my core and will always be my center. But making other forms of music and writing about other things is really cathartic.
@adri.progression Жыл бұрын
mhm! Also, bc you are familiar with the different processes you can integrate the different tools to help execute your ideas. For me, I use CAD which I learned in uni for Engineering to make stuff that I throw into Blender 3D, which I use to make visuals for beats I made in Ableton. Tools and mediums are just a means of executing your ideas and seeing how compatible they are with each other is fun and freeing :) @@realonereal1
