I remember back in 2019-2020, he made a pair that ripped off the Travis Scott 1s. I sought after that shoe for a while (before those small brands started making their own bootleg 1s) and resold them for more than what i paid for $300. Made in Italy too. It was called the Malone 😂

I’ve been thinking this for years and glad the conversation is being had more but there are WAY too many sneakers being produced across all brands. Let’s not forget the state of the economy and people out of work, no wonder classics are sitting on shelves. I think a lot of people, myself included, are being way more picky about what we buy for our collections. Sneaker culture turned in to fast fashion. I still love the culture and following what new collabs etc are coming out but I just need less. I own 30+ sneakers and mainly wear the same 3-5 pairs on rotation… 🤷🏼‍♀️

I been saying something similar. The pricing architecture is based off fumes and hype too. I've scaled back so much myself. There's still some great collabs dropping etc..

Good season so far, but Steve ain't into sneakers at all, it seems. They let him talk and talk and talk...about basic shyte too. Who booked him? Was this a favor? And Rappaport is his style connection? Like, whoa. 😂 He said "Nike and Adidas and all of that . . ." re: Stan Smith - he nearly/almost said - "he made that cute little sneaker thingy" 😳 He hates Jordan's with conviction.
