I'm not ashamed to admit it that in elementary we couldn't afford the big name brand shoes so I wore the shaqs and the and 1's from walmart. Mad respect to shaq for making affordable shoes for families that struggle and can't afford it. He could of brushed the woman off that told him about the shoes but took it to heart and made a change, thanks shaq I know it helped my family out alot.

I love this video too much. Shaq being the caring guy he is even asked them after the fact if they wanted anything else. Happy the kids got some fresh pairs of shoes.

Love Shaq. Also loved that he threw in some bits of history with the brands. Never knew some of that back story. Especially the part he stated Nike used to own the Shaq brand. Great episode!

I've watched a lot of these videos, but this one ranks in the top one: The interview, AND more importantly, the cost of these shoes and the babies that aspire to them... Shaq is, and always has been legendary! You Can't Stop The Reign! Thank you for the upload.

Shaq is an amazing human being. A real role model, a legend, an amazing business man, and he always helps out in anyway possible. I hope people are giving him his flowers now before it’s too late. I will be heartbroken when he is gone. I love you Shaq 🙏🏽

What a wonderful human this man is. His kindness always makes me year up. I aspire to be like this, I have the will but lack the funds. If ever I am able, I will follow Shaq's lead. I know what it's like to be the teased kids.

As a Boys & Girls Club kid, I already had some respect for Shaq for being one too.... Seeing this and hearing his story, then watching how he bought more club kids shoes... My respect for this man has gone through the roof and I can't stop smiling. Think I might get rid of my LeBrons for a pair of Shaqs....

Crazy smart move from Shaq. Showing how he managed to get each kid 2-3 pairs and spend less than 1k. Showing the culture you don’t need to spend bands on shoes, be proud of what you got
