Hi there, the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) is responsible for ensuring the safe and responsible development of Alberta’s oil, oil sands, gas and coal resources. Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP) is the provincial ministry within the Government of Alberta that is responsible for environmental policy.
