I can't find it now, but I saw my favorite comment posted on here a few years ago. It said something like: Exit the back of Fiorella's, right on French Market Place, hang a right on Ursulines, left on Decatur, left on St. Philip St. and cut through Market Café, cross N. St. Peters, ride up the handicap ramp and jump the railroad track, down the levee to St. Peter St., down the hill and back across the railroad tracks by Jackson Brewery, up the ramp to the steps in front of Jackson Square, back down the ramp by Café du Monde, right on Decatur, left on Madison Ave. going the opposite way on a one-way street;), right on Chartres St., left on Gov. Nicholls, left on Royal St., right on St. Peters to the Preservation Hall :) Damn Clint, that's why the food from Fiorella's was always cold ;))

I miss the city and the food but it is far to dangerous to call it home anymore. This video makes me homesick for Louisiana. This is a great video and I went back in April and spent three days in meetings but one of those days was able to get away and walk down Burbon and see a few friends of mine. The city is like that you can walk down the streets and see your friends. But since Katrina it is dangerous if you stay out after dark. Take a cab to burbon and back to the hotel. Safety first!

This is simply New Orleans and I do miss Louisiana everyday. Next week I go back for business and man I could use some fried catfish and gumbo. Can't wait to go back just to walk around and see my friends and family. Since Katrina it just hasn't been the same and I miss the city from before. Ain't nothing like it no where and you simply caan't recreate it.

Dear Luscious, Yes I know I stayed at the Marriot and walked to the Aquarium and to /riverwalk during my last trip and went to my favorite old used bookstore. Yes I miss the city and my friends and my old house. But like they say if you stay put to long you stop growing. I find my new city very interesting and my dog loves the snow it's as close to London without leaving the United States. Take Care Luscious and have a hurricane for me this weekend. Happy New Year From Happymike and Rex.

Been back from New Orleans for almost 9 weeks miss the big easy. Left due to the crime and the people just acting stupid. This was a hard decision but sometimes if you want a better life you have to leave the old life behind. But still miss beignets and chicory coffee in the morning. To all my friends in New Orleans le bon temp rollin.

This is one of the best New Orleans videos available on the internet. Incapsulates what living in New Orleans circa 2010 was all about. I left NOLA in 2012 so maybe it’s changed since but this what New Orleans was like then, at least for me.

Words cannot describe just how wonderful this video is...nor the talent that was involved it making it look and sound as flawless as it is! All the shows in the New Orleans Bingo! Parlour at VooDoo displayed the talent and love and culture that is this fabulous city of New Orleans. Thank you for sharing your love with us! It is inspiring and entertaining and fabulous! Major kudos to Clint, Ben, Ralph, Henry, the Preservation Hall Band, the Bingo! Show and all those involved in making this video!

Man, I feel happy and sad simultaneously watching that. THAT's what NOLA is all about, right there. Not the crap and corruption that keeps dragging it down like an anchor as people try to make a comeback; NOLA's about living life and loving life and being as soulful as you wanna be. Viva New Orleans! Laissez les bons temps rouler, baby...

Just had to hear it tonight before the New Year's Eve party in Denver. I miss New Orleans and going to Bourbon St for New Years and drinking a good scotch and a decent cigar. Love the video! Getting to see NOLA is treat. The FUN and playful carnival element of the video seemed in sharp contrast with the lyrics about a complicated life. The fact it was made just before Katrina struck is also interesting, like a forewarning of just how complicated life would become for them, as they trip around and play throughout the town. The Preservation Hall Jazz Band keeps it all grounded ! Wonderful!

An anonymous fan, I fell in love with you in 1998 playing for tips at the old Kaldi's Coffee House on Decatur. I squealed with pleasure when you agreed to play at the Isadora's Diary benefit party at the Pickery Warehouse in 2000. And I am overly pleased to see you are still making music and doing well in New Orleans. Enjoyed watching you at the Ogden Museum in the preview of the documentary film "A Louisiana Fairytale".

@manusmleon Sorry man I left in November of 2008 tired of the crime and murders in Louisiana I put my house on the market and left. Like my new city but if all goes well I will soon be going back there for a short visit. Rex will spend time with grandpa and be spoiled by all belief just miss my friends want to go and see them. This song helps with the homesickness and my new neighbors are great make me feel right at home.

Miss the Marigny but since Rex the Wonder dog is a husky living in the south wasn't good for a cold weather kid like him. My house was on Elysian near St Claude miss walking to the quarter and Cafe Du'Monde. But here it snows me neighbors are nice people and I have a yard for Rex to run around in. I know I have had Rex so long it would be hard to live without him. My neighborhood wasn't the greatest before Katrina but I felt safe but since then I had to leave.
