Hello Dear.. I just got a otoplasty 2 weeks ago..the recovery has been just fine, but the shape of my ears look like the "telephone" shape you described.... Personally I don't think it matters all too much. Just because a doctor in a lab coat has said its a bad thing, it doesn't mean it is. People will barely notice as its a very subtle thing.
