I'm 49 and finally gonna get this done. My situation is a little complicated than just my ears. I was born with my fingers from my left hand deformed and have always suffered from depression and being insecure. My confidence has always been underneath my feet. With this surgery I hope I won't feel as depressed and my confidence will be much better. I feel that I could deal with my deformed fingers better with my ears pinned back.

@@DjEvolux It was this past Friday October 2nd and today I have my first check up with my doctor. She showed me my.ears after the surgery and they were closer to my head but swollen. I'll see them today at my appointment.

@@MytempusIC Wish you the best! My only regret is not doing this when I was young. I was scared to admit that I hated my ears and all through my life I went through family members and relatives throwing little jokes about my ears. I just laughed with them but I cried alone after.

Don't hate yourself. We all have something we don't like about ourselves. Tell your parents how much they bother you. Maybe they'll help.

Used to hate myself but learnt not to anymore because over time I've learnt accpet myself. If ur still unhappy u can either hide ur ears. Or physically surgery to change them. Do whatever makes u happy and know u can and have the power to change ur appearance if ur unhappy with it ❣️

Better to have big ears so it can be reduced in size than to have small ears to enlarge it where the surgeon would have to put in some silicon. I have small ears it doesn’t bother me all that much until someone point it out and ridicule my look
