Apart from being greek & a fan of Demis. I can only hope that some day his discography will be appreciated in the U.S., as it did, not only in Europe, but in the Middle East & Latin America as well in the 70's. Furthermore his single "Loving arrms" hit the top in the U.s. Country charts in 1979, the only succes his sound got ever in North America. Thank you for your insightfull breakdown of what you hear .

I remember Demis Roussos being a very popular star in the 70's. He was in 'Aphrodites Child' along with one of my favourite artists 'Vangelis. Their album 666 is worth a listen if you ever get time. His vocals can also be heard on Vangelis's soundtrack of Blade runner. Anyone who has seen the play 'Abigale's party' will also know his name. Thank you for covering this great vocalist 👍

I have just discovered the song Because by him with a lovely video of Demis wearing a long white gown. This song is stunning. I do recommend it. Thank you for your intelligent and sensitive review. I am in my sisxties and am staggered by the general ignorance of so many younger people as regards ANYTHING outside what they are fed, whether it be music, history, literature etc., so I agree with you. It is their sad loss.
