Guitar rig aside, there are other delays that reverse the sound?
@jonasfriedman Жыл бұрын
@andreakleiner80 - I believe soundtoys cystalizer does reverse echo (www.soundtoys.com/product/crystallizer/), and there's a free one that I just found but can not personal vouch for yet which is (plugins4free.com/plugin/3123/)

Let's be real, did you get the Friedman amp because you share a name? (Because if Koch amps made a plugin I'd be all over it!) Really digging the videos, you can tell how much effort you put into making them.

Interesting techniques! I usually go the lazy route with hyped strings and send some dist/tape to the channel directly. I’m very interested in clever ways to route stuff in general, and always looking to make my template more efficient. I’d love to see how your template is routed; what goes into VCAs, sends, VEPRO configs etc. The routing is generally the part where I, and probably many others as well, struggle the most.

Great suggestion @The Rock That Floats - I will work on a video that shares some incites regarding my template setup and efficiency in general

Love the channel. I've been working in Ableton Live for 10 years. I'm starting the film scoring program at UCLA this fall. I know I have to switch DAWs for film scoring. Is there a reason I should choose Cubase over Logic? The field seems pretty split with many top composers using either. Any recommendations?
@jonasfriedman3 ай бұрын
I am a huge cubase cheerleader - if you’re starting from scratch with either I’d highly recommend cubase. Many phenomenal composers use logic and at the end of the day you can make great music in either. However I feel Cubase has extra features that impact efficiency and organization which I really love.
@Ohleysmokes3 ай бұрын
@@jonasfriedman Thanks Man!! I love Ableton Live for work flow but sadly it is not very popular in the Film Scoring Community.
@christiannilsen28353 ай бұрын
I’m curious why you choose Nuendo and not Cubase for composing (more composer features) Is it cause of Nuendos video and Dialogue features etc? Thanks!
@jonasfriedman3 ай бұрын
A long time ago when I was very young and first learning to record myself - I was like 12 years old - the music store guy sold me on nuendo - it’s now obvious it was because it was more expensive (bigger commission)😅 since then the upgrades have always just been cheap so I’ve stayed with it but I also have cubase and it does everything a conposer needs .. that said now working on a game nuendo has some cool integrations to Wwise but for composing work cubase does everything nuendo does other than that
@christiannilsen28353 ай бұрын
@@jonasfriedmanHaha love it. And if I’m not wrong Dolby Atmos. I did a chatGPT to compare cause I’m a nerd and founds a TON of really cool fx and dialogue stuff that syncs even afrer edited heavily in nuendo. As we plan to create animations from scratch with all the VFXs, VOs and music as well this is the first time I will go back from Studio 1 to Nuendo and Cubase. The midi editing is simple great
