Thanks for the easy compost method a must try one ...however during lock down due to the unavailability of the fertilizer which my plants needed desperately I just tried collecting in all the kitchen uncooked waste and filling up in a normal pot with alternate layer of mud after 25 days it turned to be a very healthy food for my plants as my plants recovered from some disease which they were showing before .one thing I found was I was able to use them without being scared of it may burn my plant and I could use it with just mixing with the prior mud. All mud in the pots started to bear earthworms andy plants looked happier ......shared just because some ppl had written they don't have cowdung compost ...... however sir, u are inspiration to many beginner gardeners like me ....

Sir, It's indeed a very good method of composting. I am after composting for about a couple of years but never learnt such a simple method. But pl. clarify (1) will there be no leechate at all ? (2) will one has to use dry leaves ? Hope you will respond at the earliest.

Sir, this is best video on this topic, so far. But still, what I found missing in this is that you showed only one single update in between the entire 25 day process. And that was just on the second day showing how to add more waste material to composting container. It would have been even better and complete explanation: (1) If you had shown a few more progress updates of every 4-5 days, even if no more waste was added, to show the process as it happened, as the height of the waste material went o reducing slowly and slowly; (2) If you had shown the exact method of upturning the composting contents with the help of some stick or something else and sprinkling water to it on regular basis. So that the entire process was clear to us, showing clearly: (1) if there was any residual liquid from the decomposing process that came out from the bottom hole of the pot; (2) What was the role of the hole in side of pott's bottom? (3) if there was any problem with insects during the process?

Here in California Mr. passion we compost with leaves and limbs branches and trees a newspaper cardboard and scraps from the kitchen it takes longer but isn’t that a better variety for the garden

i have been doing this for a long time put kitchen scraps in container then a layer of compost and then scraps and then more compost and so on can do it in small containers or big ones i use compost from store in bag i dont use dear compost i use cheap stuff it does the same thing just takes a bit longer

But my vermicompost is fine because we need to keep it in wetness. If notice termites in your bin you use turmeric powder with water and pour into the bin. You will get good results.
