Composting Without Farm Animals

Did you know you can make free dirt? And, you don't NEED farm animals, although they are beneficial.... Compost those leaves and flower bed trimmings! (I put kitten scraps in my compost bins too). As long as you don't treat them with herbicide or chemicals, they are wonderful additions to the garden compost. Grab your neighbor's leaves too! What better than free dirt! Well, compost, but still a great addition to the garden and a way to reduce waste in the landfill!
