I was sick when the teacher went over this in class, so I wasn't there. She just told me to learn it out of the textbook. That didn't work as I am an auditory learner. This video helped so much! At 5:14 I think you accidentally subtracted 2 instead of adding it. You do the opposite of what's in the inequality and since it's all subtraction you would add 2 and get 10.

Also, may I just point out that if you are in college/university, they do not do this method. You will not use open or closed circles. However, it depends on the college/university. They teach brackets and parentheses instead of the circles.
