When Sara got her arrows back from the road she had a miss in that arrow was missing a knock. I bet you that the know broke after the shot which could make it go wacko like that

I had a nock break on a shot once and it caused a dry fire breaking a limb. I think setting up the audience alongside the arrow path will eventually get someone shot. A broken nock, a flinch, or some other equipment failure will send an arrow into the stands and it will be very bad for the sport.

Actually there are 2 ways to see this: Mike Schlosser could have shot off the target to make it even or he could shoot at his best level to show his respect to his opponent. I knid of agree with him on that. And even if Sara Lopez had scored a 10 instead of missing the target, he would have still won in the end by 145 to 148. But anyway definitely Sara Lopez is incredible and definitely could beat any man on the circuit. I would interested to see this kind of exhibition match in indoor shooting because outdoor most women are still at a disadvantage because of their lower draw length and power which slows down their arrow in a context where speed can be very important , especially when there is a lot of wind. In indoor, the match would be even more even.

Why would he purposely shot off the target just to make it even? This match is fight fair and square. No matter this is an exhibition match or competition every athlete should give their best to show respect to their opponent. It will be a disrespectful to Sara if Mike purposely shot off the target for no reason.

Pulling a stronger bow gives you an advantage as does a physically heavier bow, so men do have an advantage, although it is less with compound bows than recurve bows since the let-down means they don't have to hold the full weight. The difference would be more with recurve bows.

Mike probably shoots around 60 since that is the limit for most tournaments. According to her World Archery profile, she shoots 53 lbs. So her disadvantage is little to none.

Draw weight is irrelevant, almost everyone shoots between 50-60 lbs. Some women draws even 60# same as men.

@@warkawarzonerorak7413 stabilizer weight also doesn't matter too much if you're not good at shooting. There are also plenty of pro guys that shoot with much less weight than him

@@warkawarzonerorak7413 I just found that the latest setup that Braden Gellenthien reported had 11oz on a 30 inch long rod and 22 ounces on a 15 inch side rod. Mike shoots with 30 oz on his front rod alone. But Braden and Mike have shot against eachother multiple times. I shoot with 10oz on a 30 inch rod and 22 ounces on a 15 inch side rod on a TRX 8. So my set up is similar to Braden's in weight. I'm super skinny though, so I bet Braden can hold more weight, but that isn't necessary.
