why would one pick 725 over 675 or 625?

That a great question ? ?! We're almost finished with our Designer Comparison review which breaks down the similarities and differences. In a nutshell, it's a matter of more features/power. The Designer 725 has more power, automatic features, 100 speed capacitive slide touch, you can add time, and pulse at different speeds. The 675 and 625 have fewer features and power than this. See latest cnet review on this blender. I went with a Vitamix due to this fatal design flaw.

Yep saw that, thank you! Any super high powered blender that goes beyond 6 minutes of hard blending starts to heat the rubber gasket. Had customers have this happen with both blenders. Def recommend twister jar for nut butters. Luckily they have a industry leading 8 year warranty.

***** so I just bought the blender, but I have a question. When I got the machine, I forgot to check the count number....oops. And I used the pulse button several times and smoothie button once. Now my machine shows 8 counts...My question is, does the blender counts every pulse as a count?

Although it's a great blender the jar will most likely have problems in two years if you use it everyday. Problems such as a loose bearing and the bearing losing it's seal making it drip a brown liquid. Don't believe me? look it up on google where you can find a lot of people complaining about jar issues.

Yes we've heard about this!! Only had a problem with one jar after over 2000+ blends. People must realize the serious power that the bearing endures with high powered blenders - it's not just Blendtec. Luckily Blendtec offers an 8 year warranty on the jar :D
