Good lesson i liked so much the idea of how to incorporate country design standards to the software inbuilt codes to cater for design criteria....however we also need a lecture on how to include culverts to the vertical profile at points susceptible to flooding and produce cross sections for them..thanks

Good question! Actually I didn't need it for the targeting option I used. There is another way I could have chosen my targeting limits that would require using one of the half assemblies.

Really learn a lot from your video. thanks brother! It's an amazing detailed tutorial! I'm just having a slight problem, I realised that every time after i create the intersection for road 1 and 2 and proceed to save the file, the next time i open the file, road 2's design vertical profile will be missing the for the first bit of chainages (0-200m) which is the PVI point. I read on forum that we have to set "anchor profile to alignment start" under profile properties. Could you let me know what does this mean?

How about making an assembly of a swamp crossing, could we use an assembly using assembly composer since normal assemblies have only 4 materials types yet a swamp crossing you need rock fill, RCC, fill of varying CBR strengths like 7,15,30 and then gravel wearing cross ?

The type of file must correspond to the format you choose when importing. That is, if your data is a point file, you have to select that you are importing a "pnt" file. Most preferably, select "all types" so irrespective of the file type, all of them will be seen.
