Why is there dislikes on a video like this? Irrespective... Once you realise no financial advisor cares about fixing your poverty, the next step is learning to fix it yourself. You may discover that it is much easier to control your spending compared to effectively generating an additional income. Once you know that, then you start counting your pennies and saving the ones you can. SO... THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH FOR CREATING SOMETHING USEFULL!

Hi Andre, I submitted for tax returns 3 months ago, 1st they did an audit on my 2021 tax year and requested for the 2019 Irp5 which I did not have, this has now been finalised and now they want an Irp5 for 2005, which I also don't have, my previous employee said that all Irp5's was submitted, how can I get a copy of my Irp5 for 2005 from easy filling

Hi there, no you can't - you'll need to contact your employer's Payroll/HR about your IRP5. Otherwise you must call SARS about it.

Hi Andre, quick question, I made a profit of about R6000 (six thousand) or less overall in my property portfolio and sars still made me pay R1600. They rejected any means I made to understand why I am not getting tax deductions on property rates, taxes, bond interests... Are these tax deductable only if one makes a loss?

If you made a profit of R 6,000, there will likely be tax to pay. If you made a loss, there won't be any additional tax to pay.

How do you register for tax & UIF if you have a trading name with different practice office? Like, Me and my friend we want to have one trading name for our Optom practice like Specsavers, but have our practices centres operate independently. Tax affairs & UIF contribution happening at his Durban practice centre must not have to affect what happens in mine at Pretoria. More like a franchise

You should still be able to register the entities separately on CIPC.

Thay have done it but there is now 3 RIP5 from one company 2 are correct one is wrong now thay say there is nothing further thay can do I must contact Sars. Sars says the company must do it so I am confused now

Go back to the company who issued the wrong IRP5, give them the SARS case number (from your phone call with SARS) and tell them they need to fix it, because according to SARS, they need to fix it.

You can't. You need to contact the company who created and submitted the IRP5 to SARS.

I've logged in but the landing page doesn't show tax period 2020. It only shows 2019 and 2018. I've tried to contact SARS telephonically but was number 630 in the queue. I tried the Call Me Back service twice to no avail. Can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

You need to go to returns issued, and then request the 2020 tax return.

Hi Andre, I forgot about my efiling and I’m now scrambling to do it. The forms now ask for information on loans, overdrafts, cars, home loans etc. is this based on additional earnings made from a side business or is this a new form that needs to be submitted by individuals? Thanks

What you submit to SARS depends on the income that you declare. If you are declaring salary income, there will be an IRP5 on eFiling If you are declaring rental income, then you must capture rental income and expenses If you have a small business, SARS will ask you to complete the assets & liabilities schedule for example.

Returns issued - Open the return that you need to declare capital gains - tick the yes box for "other income/expenses" - then at comprehensive questions, there will be the question box for capital gains. Tick that and then you'll be able to complete that section.
