Always such a pleasure....sitting back on my chair with a cup of café. Oh, Yes, it worked, we can see and hear, héhé. Great playing Paul: thanks for sharing. Have a nice week. Like 👍

Thank you so much Joseph. Always good to see. It worked by luck, not skill. Every time is like the first time :-)

Thanks very much, for visiting and for the kind words. Ideally I would like it 1lb and a half lighter but I'm very fond of this guitar 🙂

Hi Paul , After an absence on KZbin for several weeks following the writing of the musical comedy libretto for a musical comedy which took up a lot of my time, I am returning with pleasure to listen and watch your videos. I like your performance. All the best....Bernard

Thanks very much for the kind words and welcome back after your travails. I hope your libretto works for everyone. Re-writes are torture 🙂

great sound in my headphones ! cool loop and jam 👍

Thanks so much. You always get a superb sound so I take it as a great compliment that you mention the sound here. I am extremely lazy - simple loop and then just plug in and play really - so I'm glad it's working for those people kind enough to listen.

Morning Paul , great sounding Squire and sweet playing too . I recently picked up a 2017 Custom bound 60s Squire Telecaster and it sounds plays and looks the business. Take care. Cheers John

Mornin' John. Good to see you, and thanks. It seems to me that a major difference between Squier and a more expensive brand is perhaps consistency, and when they're good they're great. Enjoy your '60s Custom 😀

Sounding sweet!! I hate video making and editing apps. Why they need to change things every 5 minutes I don’t know. You seem to have the hang of this one though! Thanks for the music!

Thanks for the kind words and much appreciated support Rose. I can assure you that this video made it here more by luck than good management and I have no doubt at all that next time will be a mystery voyage too :-)

It's twice as good as some guitars three times the price. I love it.

Great performance Paul and lovely tone as always....was that your own backing track?....btw sorry I'm a bit late. 🎸🎸
@PaulMcCaffreyfmac6 ай бұрын
Thanks Davie. Late's fine. A few recent videos have had very few views so my expectations are currently low. I've given up on my stock of Guitarist Magazine cds with 'Blues Headlines' backing tracks on as I got to the stage of using the same basic track time after time. This is the Boss RC500 looper with a simple 3 or 4 chord backing. The TC Ditto looper was great but the simple drum machine in the Boss raises it to another level. It's good fun. I like it 🙂

never heard of or used capcut. I am using davinci resolve. It is free but you need some good hardware to use it. Good playing like always. Reminds me a little of southern rock and of course Mick Taylor.

I'm now on a chromebook and capcut is recommended. The further I get from actual playing the more I hate technology and yet another software package is the last thing I want in my life. Thanks, as ever, for the kind words Frank.

I liked watching your guitar playing. Did you make the accompaniment or is it a band? I’m from the USA, 70 yrs old retired guitar builder. ( big names)
@PaulMcCaffreyfmac6 ай бұрын
You're very kind. Thanks for dropping by and for the kind words. I hope all ypur guitars got the love they deserved. The backings are all done on a Boss RC500 looper with simple drum patterns built-in and an octave unit to play bass on a regular guitar. My loops are more or less ramshackle depending on how much time I take on any given day. 😊

Is that you Monty referenced on that pedal when mick was having a refret?

I wasn't aware of that video so I just had a look and yes, it is me. I met him when his workshop was in Terry Britten's garden and visited him a lot when he moved his workshop to Acton. I have his pups in two guitars and have had work done on a couple more. He's a good man. I don't see him so much now he's left town. The little tool chest at the end of his bench with the T-Cut in it was a gift from me. I used it from 1971 when I was repairing antique musical boxes with a man named Bob (in truth he repaired 'em and I helped.) It hadn't been used for its' intended purpose for years and I knew that Matt would give it a good home. He got the story pretty straight. If you want to hear it from the horse's mouth search on my channel for a video called 'Der Tag'. The guitar is all over my channel. You can find it easily enough. Obviously no obligation to watch any video on my channel... My endless chit chat isn't to everyone's liking. Haha! Thanks for the visit and for taking the time to comment and for bringing that video to my attention 🙂
