This 28 year old non-ER 767 is being ferried to their new owners in Florida. This 767 started its life with Air Algerie, but because its not ETOPS, not ER and getting old; the airline has decided to retire it... Here she is landing in Montreal on ferry flight from Algiers via Shannon.
Upon landing, it would appear the aircraft suffered a compressor stall which caused the flame... Never seen that before!

It flight was flying as AH7000 but for some reason Montreal tower kept on confusing it with our normal Algerie flight; AH2700...
The flight was suppose to depart a day later to Florida but it would appear that the FAA would not grant them access into U.S airspace causing a delay. It had nothing to do with this incident. They had to wait until they received a green light before departing Montreal for the US
