Even in cases where it is difficult for you to compound the offence the witnesses can resile at any stage and get the other party's acquittal very easily from the court.

Sir, electricity department lodged F.I.R. against a contract worker.It is alleged that he collected the cash from the consumers ,instead of depositing their bills by cash, he made the deposit from his bank account in the form cheque which subsequently dishonoured.The alleged cheques were never dishonoured in fact and are not presented by I.O. in the court. U/s 482 HC only quashed the proceeding and does not make it compoundable. There is different between quashing the proceeding and compounding the non compountable offence.

It can do that, go thru the cases i mentioned in the video.. It is limited to the offences not serious in nature as well as the offences private in nature.

It can quash the proceeding in non compoundable offences which is in private nature where HC satisfied that satisfactory compromise has bee made between accused and victim and continuing of proceeding amount to abuse of process of court. But it does not mean that it cannot converted non compoundable offence into compoundable by using sec. 482.
