good info. I'm trying to prepare for network + and need to decide whether to study for 007 or 008. I have A+ which expires 10/24 I work in healthcare IT

"1 to 2 years of experience" Meanwhile, HR wants 4-7 years of experience for those jobs that network+ recommends.

Ignore that and apply to the job regardless. Trust me on that. You won't always get a callback but most of the time there is a huge disconnect between HR and the IT department.

The University I attended has shown the University will have security basics before network +, but others that follow will have your network + before security +. Can you provide the information that shows why you have stated the opposite?
