It's a very sensitive alarm system as loud motorcycles, noisy trucks and low flying jets set it off. Is it possible to remote lock the doors without the alarm set and or lessen alarm sensitivity ?

Hello! My T9 has dimmed its LCD illumination (it's screen is like a calculator screen, no light). Any suggestions on how to fix this? I've emailed Compustar but their response was "change the batteries". I've done that multiple times but no success

in my 2018 impreza with push-to-start it was $502 installed for a 1mi range 2way. They are a bit cheaper if your car actually uses a key

You take a hammer and carefully smash it open then replace the battery and superglue it back together

Hi. thx for this demo. I have a CS 7900AS and this remote is just like. But somehow to unlock all doors I need to click twice. It worked fine the first couple of times. Then it became hard to unlock. I just use the original fob to unlock all doors. Was this an install screw up? or I just dont know how to operate this? advanced thx for reading and reaponding.

I just installed my Compustar alarm/remote start 2 days ago with that 2 way remote but it does not receive 2 way confirmation. It might as well be a one way remote. It just always shows unlocked and disarmed no matter what button I push. All the functions work normally just not the 2 way communication. It also does not show the picture of the engine symbol on the remote. Also, either remote will not enter programming mode to change some options around like the run time and diesel timer options. I have removed batteries, unplugged the antenna, reprogrammed both remotes and have disconnected the actual remote start module but the problems still exist. Any help would be appreciated

My remote starter is giving me issues. The lock and unlock button work properly but the start is hit or miss. Rather annoying. Do you have any advice?

Cameron Perry there can be several reasons for it not to start. When it doesn’t start, watch the parking lights flash and record how many times they flash. Then contact your installer and give them that info.

@@remotelystarted516 They don't flash at all when I hit start. I swapped the batteries and it seems to work now. Might be a coincidence. How long do the batteries typically last? I had it installed in August and didn't have issues with it

Any LCD style remote that uses a AAA battery will typically only last a few months before needing a new battery.

I have a question , I got a compustar alarm with the security and and sometimes when I go to star my car a it like bips 3 time and I get an error 007 my car is stick shift the guy who did it he said that I have to apply the brake and them pull the E brake up .. but then sometime its starts and sometimes I get the error 007 but and then I did check online and it said that you don't need to apply the brake if any one can help me..

Joel Sanchez the reason for the error could be many things, most of which are not a discussion to have on KZbin. I suggest visiting Compustar’s website and use the dealer locator to find another nearby dealer that would hopefully help you better.

Chubosaurus it should only beep once on lock. If it beeps more than that it’s sensing an entry point open like a door, hood or trunk. If all those entries are closed, you should consult your installer for further diagnosis.

There is a little tab on the back...press is forward and then slide the compartment upward to reveal the aaa battery.
