Why is it 10 years later and Compustar still hasn't corrected their manual? They think we're stupid, unable to install these things! I strongly recommend buying starters from MyPushCart. They setup their systems ready to go for you specific vehicle, AND most importantly, they have great, fast customer support! Compustar takes ages to reply, and when they do, they won't help you! Avoid Compustar! With the smart phone add on you can use with the Crimestopper units from MyPushCart, all the fancy features in the world that Compustar comes up with won't make a difference. And their subscription fee is far less expensive than Drone! I'm now uninstalling my Compustar just so that I can use the MyCar module with a Crimestopper. And thanks so much for making this video. Even in 2023 it's still needed because Compustar wants to purposely mess with their customers.

much easier to see how it's done then truing to figure the instructions from the manual. All this time I been doing it all wrong. my cm800s would not start one first attemlt if the outside temp is in the 40s or below. Had to do 2nd attempt every time. hard to see if it started or not when the car is in a detached garage. Hoping this time with the correct programming, it will start on first attempt. I added +0.2sec to the default cranking time. hope this will work.

i have cm4000 on my car. i tried to program it with a 2 way remote it didn't work out and parking lights won't flash anymore. now even i just lock/unlock the door, parking lights just won't flash anymore.

Thanks much. Do you know how to active the timer mode? So the car starts itself ever few hours and runs for 4 mins?

I am guessing the alarm is not on at this time. Is the key in the ignition? If so, what position?
