Computer beeps 3 times and refuses to power up Fix

Been sitting on the floor with my seven year old son trying to figure out why our pc is making beeping sounds and not starting. We have watched this video together and tried to follow the instructions and guess what it worked!!!! We high fived then he told me we must subscribe and like the video. My man, my fiance cleaned my computer area and afterwards i got the 3 beeps and monotor loosing signal. My IT guy told me ill have to bring it in and ill only get it back on monday (its wednesday today). My car broke down the day before lockdown and ended up costing my entire april and mei salary, i literally dont have a dime on my name so basically my pc would be fucked, but this method of your actually worked!! For anyone interested... I followed instructions and removed all RAM memories (didn't blow them) but removed some dust with a brush and when putting them back on it worked!! PC on again functioning well

I had purchased a refurbished Lenovo computer which came with an HP keyboard. I hooked everything up, and got the 3 beep problem. I did some YT video searches concerning others who had the same problem with a refurbished Lenovo computer that came with an HP keyboard. I found another guy who had the same problem. In his case, he switched to a USB keyboard, and then it worked fine. My guess was that the BIOS was not updating to recognizing the HP keyboard and thus registered an error. So To increase the chances of it doing so, I removed one 4GB mem card. It was now up and going. I then reinstalled the second 4GB mem card, and it too was working fine. So my guess is that when the refurbished units were tested, they were tested using a USB keyboard, thus not using the HP keyboard.

Our breath has a lot of water vapor that can cause rust, try using a blower to clean. Pull the plugins out then reinsert and it's done, It should work, or further checkup.

(this is for the ones who needs help if their pc is beeping short and continuous beeps) so when u open your CPU as u can see there are 2 RAM slot take out your RAM and wipe the golden edges with eraser or cloth and then put the RAM in the other slot and then try to click it in because if u dont that might be the cause of the problem and thats it! thats what i did to mine and it works.

Unreal. PC was on sleep. Then when I went to bed it showed on but nothing on the screen. Turned it off. In the morning turned it on and the beeping started. Found this and took out the cards. Sprayed out the dust. Both cards back in and pc working like normal. Thanks for the tips!

I have 3 short beeps followed by 3 short beeps and a cpu fan rev. After a brief pause it repeats. It started after dusting off the computer and adding additional RAM. I've tried reseating the RAM, tried many different modules including couple new ones. The RAM works on a different computer, so it's fine. I've tried using a single module in every slot or combinations of couple modules. I've reseated the CPU and restarted BIOS by removing the battery. I've tried blowing air on RAM slots to clean them. When I remove all RAM the beep signal changes, so it detects that RAM is there. I've tried disconnecting anything unnecessary from the PC. The problem still persists. Anyone has any ideas what to try next?
