Thank you so much! I had a day of cleaning my pc and I had to take the ram out to do it, now it being dual channel I just put it in thinking it was that easy. Later to find out I had beeps and no display , I followed the video and put one stick in at a time and found the correct order now she’s back up and running. Thanks

I got 1 long beep and 2 short beep. So my friend told me to remove the graphics card and put it back the right way. Remove both RAM and insert only one RAM (mine is 8gb) and then it works fine. Hope you guys did it too!

I am facing the same problem. Ram is fine, its the gpu. Over other pc as well. Working fine with only ryzen processor, not with any Intel processor. Feel like gpu bios is a problem but not sure

If anyone wonders about what mas my problem, it was the thing I least expected.. After hours of trying everything and almost gave up that my GPU is dead, I swapped monitor cables after which I found out either DVI-D port on grapgics card is faulty (yesterday was working fine tho), or cable is faulty as monitor works just fine.. anyways, it could be someone is having the same issue so just try everything there is before you do heavy decisions.

What worked for me is DISCONNECTING the CD Drives which haven't been reading for a while. Its not necessary to have them UNPLUGGED if they are working UNLESS you had set BIOS to Boot the CD DRIVES first. Which was my problem. I took out the Video Card AND cleaned the contacts CAREFULLY with an eraser. I had a Display then. Also try to switch the the other HDMI port while your there to see if it even works. I need a NEW computer SO bad 😂. Ive kept this one running for like 15-16 years ONLY had to replace Power Supply ONCE. It occurred to me that HEAT is the NUMBER 1 killer of ELectronics, so i buy a 12 inch fans, took the SIDE off. This was all I have to do is dust it with a Duster, or Hair Dryer, OR Air bed inflator.

Bro. I have a Quest about the AMI one short Beep. Some people told me one beep mean " DRam refresh Failure. replace". The AMI one short beep sound diferent (diferent frecuency) like others (2 beeps,3 beeps,etc). What realy mean AMI one short beep?. Thanks a lot.

Thank you for sharing this! I tried finally fixing it for myself (with not even a little bit of experience) It was actually in a repair shop and they gave it back in a worse condition telling me that they can't fix it. So thank god i finally tried to do something with it after months just sitting on the gound. Then i finally turned it on and I got the 1 long 2 short beeps, i will try to clean the video card, maybe the ram, will be trying something. Thank you again!

I got 6 beeps it was long i guess on my msi mobo. I removed my usb interfaced keyboard while booting it fixed the issue. But have to connect once pc boots

It happens to me, but it beep short continuesly while my PC run and freeze, but then I try unplugged HDD, turn off via PC casing, turn it on again, it start and run normally, but after I watch the UEFI bios chart I think it's PSU problem.

If its not working for anyone just clean the slots with a brush and the ram pins with an eraser, while installing the rams press them a little harder, This probably should fix this problem....

I have a mother board with 1 long beep + 2 short beeps. I know it is related to the graphic card but mine is integrated. I cleaned the mother board but the problem percist. any suggestion on how to fix it?

Could be that your PCI-E slot thinks it has a motherboard in the slot, I know you said you cleaned the motherboard but perhaps get a small pin and a small alcohol wipe and clean out the inner terminals with that (preferably with the power off so you don't fry anything) leave it to sit afterwards for a few minutes to let the alcohol clear out and try again. Might not be the case. Perhaps what you're hearing is the initial start up beep + 2 short. In which case I would disregard the first beep, it is the case with Ami bios that it will beep to confirm there is power getting to the board initially then you would hear the fault code (the guy in the video mentioned just hearing beeps being faults which would be the case for motherboards but not all) if it's Ami try removing one ram card at a time and starting it in order to eliminate whether one of faulty perhaps both are but you never know.

@@Anthony-yj4pf you have a good point. First time the mobo start fine and next boot it does that beep then I pushed the Ram a little bit and the pc work. The day after it stuck at that beep I have tried to clean the ram the slots, switching the ram in different slot (there is only 2 and when it worked 1st time it was the slot near the Cpu) I have also replaced the Ram with 2 other one with same size and frequency but the problem percist and I guessed it might be the gpu I also tried installing an ecternal Gpu but this time I heared a weird fast beep then the long beep +2 short beep, I have no clue on this situation

If someone still struggling and wondering why it hasnt turn on it probably because you’re cmos battery in your mobo is dead so i recommend to replace it. You probably wondering how to check it? Tbh i dont know myself how to check it but this is what i do First pull out all the psu cable and turn the psu off, then pullout the cmos battery (if you cant find it probably its beneath your gpu), after you pull it out press the power button a bunch of time while off, wait for 10 to 15 minute, then plug in the battery again and reassemble your pc, if it still off i dont know what else, probably something in you’re pc is not plug in properly try to tighten all component just in case.

L also did all things that i can do but nothing happened. 1. I chnged the vg plug 2. I chnged lithium battery I checked power supply and exchange all the wire from cpu to monitor. 3. I turned on my pc then fans on, 1 short beep then turns off. After researching, it turns out, my RAM is the problem. I pop out the ram then use an eraser to clean the gold part, reseat it properly, then it solves it.

I had my pc on sleep, came back after eating, press on space to take off the sleep mode then it started a continuous earrape beep, i almost when deaf, didnt know what was happening i try to turn it off nothing, so i just took off all the cables, the beep stopped, got this tutorial, plugged the cables back on the. i turned the pc on and is fine now.

Hello! I have 2 4gb ram sticks, one of them is defective, if I remove the defective one everything is ok, the pc is fine, but if I insert the defective ram the monitor no longer displays anything and 4 beeps are heard, I tried to I use an eraser on those pins, but it didn't work, I found another method, I hit the hair dryer for 3 minutes on the ram and that's how it worked, only it didn't last very long... do you think you could give it to me advice..?

@@mkdiablo995 one of the psu headers was giving power to case so the system didn't boot I reinstalled psu properly made sure none of the psu headers was contacting the case body then my problem was solved. I may have explained falsely in the last comment.

My HP 250 Desktop's CPU always when i startup it it does 3 long beeps and 2 short beeps, it sounds like: "BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BIP BIP," and won't start-up. I always find the solution, just simply disconnect and connect the power supply, if it's still beeping, i do the same proccess again and again until the CPU says: "nah im gonna work properly again". But im scared for breaking or damaging the power supply.

In case you haven't gotten an answer in the last 9 days, I had the same problem when I started out but it was my error. I had plugged the monitor into the motherboard port instead of the graphics card.

If it helps anyone, my 5 beeps issue was memory slot 2 AND 4, yes, both, luck me…. Just put ram on slots 1 and 3 and worked (tested all other combinations, 1&2, 3&4, 2, 4… only worked 1, 3 or 1&3)

I have a Dell XPS M1530, on start up display showed nothing but if you shine light on the screen you can see the faint dell logo. Then I hot 2 quick beeps and then it shut down. Solution: I removed the battery and connected the charger directly without the battery and it booted up like normal.

@@sadiq985 hi I just fixed it. You need to push the ram cards into the sockets until it pops on. The cause of this is prob because the ram card no inserted properly. If you need more help, search up to how add ram cards.
