Charlie actually did a interview and this was the original version but the labels didn't agree and went to court and took Charlie Wilson's vocals off

This is actually the original version of the song. Charlie's label made Roger remove Charlie's voice and replace it with Shirley's version, for the released version.

If there was some sort of legal issue between Roger Troutman and Charlie's Wilson's label, then why are his vocals featured on this officially released track?
