Well yes , FAANG employees make way more than the average joe. But when you compare software engineering and mech/civil at normal companies, maybe same salaries or software make 10-20k more. Also I noticed management in civil pays well

brother please i want you to be more clear you already work as civil engineer in us and know every things, what i was and understood from your video all the advantages go with the software engineer there is no compare, i win the DV visa and i will came to us next year, during this time i want to prepare my self for the FE exam because it is needed in us. if civil engineer woth it i will take the exam, if it is not i will use this time to learn something about data science or software engineer, civil has less opportunities less salary more dangerous more work house. so where is the comparison hahahahha. thank you

Is it possible to get a job at FAN companies or have salary over 80000 usd without a CS degree in USA I have a BA in environmental science but right now i find myself more interested in software engineering field..and i saw one if ur comment that saying it is not possible to do CS in master if ur BA isnt a relevant field. Yes, you can do it. If you are not in USA you can do a masters here in IT or in business analytics.
