The days off have been well enjoyed (trust me), just wish it wasn't so hot, thought about getting out with my dusty detector for an afternoon or so, but its just been toooo hottttt here. Seems every year summer is getting hotter and hotter!! At least here anyway! Take care Brother!!

I have a guess have a guess 45.2 grams. I grind down my burnt chips to 80 mesh and use AR on it at least twice sometimes three times just to make sure I got it all.

If I continue to do larger batches I will probably end up rigging a ball mill. Little bit tough to hand grind them to a fine mesh. I haven't been getting to many BGA's for refining jobs, pretty much just my own stuff & small batches for others mostly under a 1/2 pound or so. But if I continue to get larger batches I will for sure have to upgrade. 😁

A used blender can get it pretty fine. Sieve to what ever mesh and through it back in to get it smaller. Sometimes some stuff won't get any smaller. Wish you luck on what ever you choose to do.

I shut the gas off to the stove to keep the mother-in-law from cooking and heating the house up .She had to use the outside wood burner to cook and I got all the sticks picked up out of the yard and she called me a few things that I not heard before .

I did finally get a chance to test those little molds, lol the outy worked better then the inny, but I think I can modify it by beveling the cut ins. The letters pull the sand out of the mold, I think by tapering the openings I will get it to work. Its just about prefect for a 1 ounce pour!! I know it took a "LONG WHILE" for me to try them, but I'm always behind a year or two LOL 🤣😂🤣. Take care brother!
