Will be even more disappointed lol and that’s me being realistic … a game this big needs as many consoles sold as possible and because of the hype around it they will delay it again because people will buy it no matter what but until we’re not getting closer to the new gen consoles and Sony and Microsoft are selling more consoles we won’t see GTA 6 period. They are trying to break new records like what they did with GTA 5 , Rockstar needs to make at least 1 Billion on launch day considering how much money they invested in this game so stop lying to yourself or hunt for leaks because it just won’t work .

Doubt it. Announcement of a delay into 2026 coming in the spring. And I think it will end up being fall 2026. I believe GTA VI is much bigger and ambitious than we think.

The Patent allows rockstar to create cities with lots of houses and buildings that you can enter… why? Because you can take away so much work by just preciously create rooms in big buildings where you then just have to go over and detail the environment to perfection ( watch out in the trailer in the first few seconds at the beach they show the hotel in a close up and you can see within few rooms.. ) maybe these rooms even go through random cycles of item placement so they look very real.. amazing game already Edit: just looked at the trailer again could you guys pls talk about the theory that you can enter and rob any house or room of an apartment because they’re all populated bc its possible now on ps5 ( look at the guys house who waters his plants… i bet you can get in there)

I hear this a lot: "It'll come out when it's ready." "You can't rush them." These excuses are getting old. Nobody is rushing them. An entire year of silence is unacceptable, especially when the game was stated by them to be releasing in less than a year. If this were ANY OTHER DEVELOPER COMPANY, you fools would be at their neck, but because it's RockstarGames, they get a pass? No. We need to hold them to the fire, too. These are the same people who abandoned RDR2 online and didn't listen to fans who wanted single-player content. These are the same people who milk and continue to milk GTA Online. These are the same people who released that abominable GTA Remastered Trilogy. They release good games. That's great! But if we don't hold them accountable when they do f*ck up, who will?

I could see them incorporating character progression/skill trees as well. Example: maybe Jason also has better hand-to-hand whereas Lucia is maybe more proficient in firearms (to start) I’d also like to see a weapon field strip/customization mechanic

The movement patent allows rockstar to almost completely remove scripted movement out of the game.. they just let event A happen for instance a car crash and people will react in there own unique ways but they will react to the event ( like in the trailer where you see ppl rushing to help) a form of realism never seen before in Gaming… yall want Trailer 2 ??? I feel the patent to change things as a possible evolution exists in baby format in GTA online. For example the office that you guys are in. As you do missions and collect money your office will start being filled items from these things. I also think back to the vice city days of buying businesses and protecting them and how that could intertwine. From a story mode perspective, I think about how everyone’s game will look different and unique to them. Yes the game will have the same algorithm and tags but if it’s being generated new each time, the things you see and experience could be completely different from what your friend sees or experiences even if you’re at the same point in the game. And lastly from an online standpoint, I think about how customizing our houses or apartments will be much more unique to ourselves instead of everyone buying the same exact apartment and getting same interiors.

MY STORY THEORY: “Gone in 60 Seconds” meets “Infamous” For those unaware, “Infamous” is a Bonnie & Clyde style movie in which the protagonists use robbery as social media push. Gone in 60 Seconds is arguably the best auto-theft film of all time in which protagonists are required to steal 50 high end cars in 3 days. Now obviously the game will likely span more than 3 days but the concepts are definitely noteworthy especially considering this is THE “Grand Theft Auto”

As far as a separate map like North Yankton or Guarma, I don’t think it will be Bermuda or any island in the Caribbean. I think the purpose of these side-maps is to have a new environment very different from the main map. Florida already has some tropical parts, I think it would have to be something to contrast that, like another snowy winter area, mountains, the desert, or maybe even part of Liberty City. Some environment that’s very different than anything you would find in Florida/Leonida. Maybe this time they do something really crazy for part of the story, and hop on a plane to a mini map in Europe or Asia. Not likely but who knows

If you think about it in terms of time and how fast it moves, GTA V came out almost 12 years ago, the leaks were two and a half years ago, the trailer was just over a year ago, and with 2025 less than a month away, the game is essentially dropping tomorrow. That's how I look at it at least.

The delay for the new trailer is (I think) due to the new possibilites with Ai. I think Rockstar found out about new technologies recently they really want to implement in their game. I do think that the release date will be delayed too.
