We get this error while installing any Windows Operating System like Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10 or any server Operating System like Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2016. So, in this video we are going to show you how you can actually solve this error and why its occuring on our computer. You should know about this error "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition. On EFI system, Windows can only be installed to GPT disk." in case of when your BIOS booted in UEFI mode and how to resolve it. You also get the same error like "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has GPT partition. On Legacy system, Windows can only be installed to MBR disk." in case of when your BIOS booted in Legacy mode and how to solve it. Thanks for your solution ! In my case there was issue from Bootable USB drive from where I was trying to Install Windows 10 on my workstation. Once I changed the Bootable USB type from UEFI to Legacy, It works. Once again, Thanks a lot !

Thank you very much sir. I have seen may be more than hundreds of videos about this tutorial and spent a lot of time. Still I could not find any accurate solution of my problem as I don't want to take risk of my losing HDD data and not even want to convert MBR to GPT. But this is the best of all videos in that category and helpful for those who don't want to convert their partition MBR to GPT because of problems and lacking software issues. All the videos of this category suggest to delete data by converting HDD or by using pirated version of software to solve this problem. So I have to say this video is kinds of a blessing. Great video. But there is also another solution. If you are installing through bootable pen drive, there is a simple solution. Keep reading. While creating the bootable USB, there is an option to choose between GPT or MBR. You just need to select the same as your hard disk. That's it. U don't have to convert the disk. U can use the software Rufus to make bootable pendrive.
