@@msknowledgechannel1600 Data loss will happen only on the drive you select. For example, if you choose "disk 0", data loss will occur only on "disk 0". If you have other drives such as "disk 1" or "disk 2, these wont be affected.

No Bro you don't have to delete all your disk data, the problem is with bootable USB or boot mode. Boot mode you might have UEFI due to that it is expecting GPT drives. And 2nd possiblity is Bootable image under USB drive is created using GPT, so you just have to re create new bootable image with MBR-NTFS. The way you have explained, due to this people will loose all there data and it's complicated to take backup in case of someone is even not able to go login to windows or crashed OS.

Yo thanks bro, you saved hours of trouble, I was about to wipe the whole hard drive untill i found your comment, just had to disable UEFI mode in boot option and it worked fine, installing the window without even converting the hard drive to GPT!!

For all the people asking what is "refresh" command at the end: It is not a command; when you exit, there is the refresh button under the list of your drives (down left, 2 blue arrows).

@TechLunar Hey man, thanks for the video! *How I can revert this?* Just in case I got a new HDD just to be focused on the new OS (Windows 10 or etc.) and I want to merge this old partition storage space to his original disk. *Just "deleting" the new partition at Disk Manager and "expanding" (so it merges the storage space to his original disk) at Disk Manager is enough?* *Or I need to convert it back to the original 'system'* (whatever it is.. I don't know the proper name.. I even thought that is NTFS, but maybe it's another thing) *before doing this process?*

For those of you who run into the error after the commands: You must format the drive first before you can follow through with the installation. PLEASE BACK UP YOUR DRIVE! Formatting the drive means that the drive will no longer contain any information at all. Your partitions are gone as well, meaning you have no return point to the original operating system. Essentially, this means you borked your system and, in some cases, need to purchase a new drive if there was a concerning error. Reasons for this error are as simple as having an older version of windows, or in my case, a Linux distro. Do not fear this error.

my guy... you have saved my life 5 years later... after i fiddled with my drives and got rid of the windows OS entirely... had troubles after troubles trying to make a bootable usb drive from MAC OS, then having to bypass other windows prompts to get to this installation phase as shown. Tai Le hello. Download hard disc driver manager on safari. Instal it and make a partition ntfs with it. After that convert your Disk to « gpt/mbr »

No, macOS disk utility already does that, just select Windows NT based (NTFS) and your partition is NTFS

You can ignore the error message. Delete all partitions until just unallocated space is showing, and then click "Next". Tutorial: Installing with UEFI/GPT or BIOS/MBR. Windows 10/11 installs in the way that the USB is booted into. Boot the USB using UEFI mode (in the boot menu, select your USB with the UEFI prefix) and Windows 10/11 will format the disk as GPT and install in UEFI mode. How is this possible? I have 4 HDD's and I suspect someone tried to break some of them but the only broke one just had files on it, however my Windows 10 partition I can read all the files and checkdisk didn't find any errors after a scan. However, if I try to run I get either Error of No OS found, or a black and white screen saying Windows Boot Manager - Boot record corrupt or missing, run Windows install and do Repair PC. Well, the repair PC section cant come up with anything but if I try to install Windows it tells me I can't because it isn't compatible being MBR but needing the GUPD other one. But if it isn't compatible, that isn't possible because Windows 10 was working just fine for years and years on that partition. I don't do anything fancy with other OS's either I'm always just in Windows 10. Any idea? I'm just gonna format but I'm curious getting to the bottom of things because I've been dealing with a lot of odd bullshit.

How did the wipe change the drive from GPT to MBR? That makes no sense, as all he did was wipe the disk, he didn't do anything else, just wiped it. If he already had Win 10 on the drive, then how did the drive change like that?

Good video, but you really don't need to do all that through the command prompt. Simply click on the X to delete the partition, then Click on New to create a new partition and finally click on Format. Once the format is completed you can click on Next and the installation begins.
