Hey. I did my debut comrades this year. Finished 9:50 with the prestigious Robert Mtshali medal. I watched all your videos. Found them very helpful. I even carried the pace plan for every 10 km section as small index cards with me. I was able to execute a perfect race plan! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

All the best with your first Up Comrades Marathon. I think many of the runners who has done a previous Up will be very rusted with the route... The last UP was in 2019.

Nice detailed breakdown route analysis. I ran my first comrades in 2019 uprun and after these years I completely forgot what some of the monsters look like into the uprun. Thank you Andre 👌🏾

11:20 Great video Andre. 💪🏻 Just a note where you've indicated Harrison flats isn't correct. According to that section it begins just over that hill by the Caltex (7.5km on your map) then eventually down to Cato Ridge. Awesome vid nonetheless 😎

Hi. Thank you for that. The exact start of Harrison Flats is tricky! I used Google Street View to search for a "Welcome to Harrison Flats" sign but could not find it! If you look at Google Maps then the "Harrison" area starts just after Inchanga Village, but it looks like we enter, then exit, then enter Harrison area again. The "Harrison Flats" might not be the same as "Harrison Area"? See this link to Google Maps: www.google.co.za/maps/place/Harrison,+Cato+Ridge,+3680/@-29.7263182,30.6150632,14.5z/data=!4m6!3m5!1s0x1ef6ee9dd2dbd929:0x1d75ce262495b03e!8m2!3d-29.7165028!4d30.6257423!16s%2Fg%2F1tg_6l5b?hl=en&entry=ttu

Thank you @stevendecanha8610. Thank you for the correction. Not easy to spot the exact boundaries of Harrison Flats. I could not see signs like "Welcome to Harrison Flats" and "You are now leaving Harrison Flats". But, if I go to Google Maps and search for "Cato Ridge Harrison", then I get the boundaries of the Harrison area. And this area is broader than what you describe. Could be that "Harrison Flats" is a subsection of the bigger "Harrison" area? Please share a link if you have one showing something more official about the boundary. Have a good Comrades!

I found 1 municipal document online that makes reference to an area inside Harrison that they mark as "Harrison Flats". This corresponds with @stevendecanha8610 above.
