@@Captain_Jack514 Sadly that’s not a flaw. It’s a REALITY for some & if you knew all the inconsistencies that are still alive & kicking in out justice system today, you would not say something like this. Out of all the stuff that was greatly exaggerated, this was NOT one of them. I watch A LOT of true crime. I’ve seen murd3r 3rs walk away UNFAZED. As someone who didn’t make the best choices I wound up in a maximum security facility at 19 years old. Were I learned that women were doing life sentences for stealing some clothes or even hygiene from their local department store. Should they have consequences for their actions? Absolutely, but life sentences? After the 3 strikes law was put in place, they went haywire at least in Cali but even in other states the sad truth is YOUR freedom may depend on a group of your peers to decide your fate or on a racist judge. Prisons are filled with people having committed the same crime, having totally different sentences, its not a joke it’s the reality of our justice system. Just HOPE that *YOU* are never in the *WRONG* place at the *WRONG* time

@@Captain_Jack514 *should* is a funny word, tell that to the poor sobs doing large sentences in prison for similar scenarios. Then once your in there, if someone attacks YOU & you defend yourself, you will be punished as it’s considered mutual combat. In the event that you DONT HIT BACK, many time’s an inmate will scratch themselves up or otherwise leave marks on their body to blame on you so they get to avoid any assault charges and MAKE it a mutual combat even though it wasn’t……

why can't movies be like this anymore? have a bunch of humour, violent action scenes, all star casts, a kicking soundtrack and an ending like this. seriously, this scene is more powerful than all the crap that's been made in the last 5 years and that was supposed to be emotional and whatnot.

The little girl is brilliant. Looks so natural in that scene but she was probably nervous really so it worked well. When she speaks, it’s lovely. Nick is gorgeous and I am a Cusack fan too. The film is funny, cheesy, exciting and has great characters and lines and music. I don’t usually go for action movies but this is different.

This is one of those great old-fashioned illogical movie endings that wrapped everything up as cleanly as you could hope, with a darn catchy song to boot.

My father always said a REAL man doesn't cry no matter what, but this scene always gets me going, and I think to myself what if I have a family some day but something happens to me who will be their to protect them, from this ugly world......terrorfies me soooo much.

IKR. I hate that he gets bashed all the time. He's a good actor in his own way. He just gets some crappy roles sometimes but he's not a bad actor. He did amazing in Face/Off too.
