I got to ride on the real Con Air in February of 2007 when I was an inmate of the US Marshal's Service and was taken from Mesa AZ to El Paso TX. The video is correct that its just another plane like any other, marshals did perform the safety instructions like your flight attendants do and when we got airborne, the inmates all gave out a cheer, to which the marshals ordered them to shut up. After that marshals began taking each row to the rear for bathroom breaks. The only thing omitted from the video was that in addition to being shackled and cuffed, we were fitted into lockboxes, which fit around the chain between each handcuff, preventing movement of your wrists. They get painful after a while but you get used to it, and I was glad I was able to knock on the fuselage of the plane by the door three times, which I must do whenever I board any plane.

I was deported from USA flying in that plane, I will give it a 2 stars. Bathroom is OK, does not smell. Meal was way better from paid commercial flights. All mechanical parts from the plane made squeaky sounds. There was about 12 marshalls looking out for us, the scary part is they were above 65 years old. In my mind the reason was that there was a high risk of crash and therefore the US cityzens would old enough to live their lives. The marshalls do not have the weapons insided the cabin, they will contain all inmates into their seats first and then they will stack all firearms where the regular flights place the documented luggage. This is not fake, this actually happend to me on 2002.

They would never put handcuffs in the front like in the illustrations but other than that, pretty accurate. Also, my BF was just arrested last month in Canada, he was super nice with the cops and he 100% listened to 100% of their instruction but they still hurt him pretty bad ): Luckily they let him go after a few hours since he wasn't guilty of anything so he was home soon after. Agents that move inmates are 10X worse, the screws, LE and the feds scare me. Most of them are rude AF.
@ubergeek19683 жыл бұрын
