I just always try to remember the parts that were difficult for me to learn, and I think that helps me try to focus on the important details rather than trying to get too bogged down but extraneous details haha

What is the unit for absolute retic count at your institution? Ours is million/uL … is yours thousand/uL?

I’m really confused. I just received my test results and I have an absolute count of 120720. That’s a bit higher than 100. I have been told that the normal maximum count is 90000. What gives?

usually the numbers are given in thousand cells per microliter, when they say 100, they really mean 100 thousand, so your results are 120.72 roughly 121 thousand cells per microliter

Zinc deficiency caused decreased iron absorption via guts. Too much Zinc caused decreased absorption of Copper, which is a way of treating Wilson disease. Too much zinc supplement causing low copper in healthy individuals could caused macrocytic anemia.
