I listened to Conan Needs a Friend driving from Clearwater FL, to Eastern Ky. 12 hours and i havent had such a good time driving. It made for such a good time. JB Smoove is an enigma of ridiculous energy and aggressive hilarity. My favorite was Bob Newhart though.

@@noisetv1863 Nah it's more of his commitment to the joke. It's not always obvious, but everything he says/does on screen is to setup the next joke, including interrupting someone if necessary.

He does it with everyone, and repeats and takes over any jokes richter makes on the show in order to stay the host. It usually works with the audience, but occasionally kills what would have been a better joke from the original joker, and sometimes Conan really runs the takeover into the ground when it’s not that funny, but then quickly moves on to something else.

Re: punctuation for old and young people texting/messaging - I'm 23, my parents are early 60s, when phones first came out I would use shorthand stuff constantly (u, tru, ya, etc.) but among the people I know, people my age use MUCH more consistent punctuation and capitalization when texting than anyone 50 and up

I found this show by searching for Gourley stuff. I am a massive fan of his improv work and pleasantly surprised to see he is co-hosting with Conan. I really love Conan but I stopped watching the show bc I didn’t think it was funny. I would just watch things from it on here. But I a,ways thought he and Andy were hysterical! Now I’ve started listening to his podcast when it started and OMG it hooked me right from the start. I can’t wait for new episodes and the chemistry between these 3 is amazing.
