So, I didn't know you could have both an exile lands game going at the same time as a siptah playthrough until I used my keystone. It had me create a new exile right away and didn't give me a choice, so I logged off and made a new game on siptah.(this is all single player, if that matters) In the morning, I go to log back in, and it gave me a choice, and i just sit there, kinda pissed. If I had known that, I wouldn't have removed the bracelet because i was thinking it was gonna get overridden anyway. Ah well, I got a fresh start for chapter 3 in the exile lands. (I bet the look on my face was priceless, though, lol)

I’ve been around this area, but not inside the Black Keep yet. Can’t help but notice that the Silent Legion members ... aren’t silent. (Growling Legion, perhaps?) ;) I’m running the perk that allows two combat-capable thralls to accompany you, and there’s a stairway heading east from the Black Keep that’s just guaranteed to trap one of your thralls when you try to take those stairs. :(

The door you went through to the final room is not the one I have ever taken. I always run all the way back to that path where you went straight but looked to the right. I have also naked run that dungeon many times about 7-10 times I can get to the tablet to learn the silent legion stuff w/o being killed by the npcs. On many servers I'll do that run, run around grab all the obolisks, religions and then start building a hidey base somewhere to plot out evil. :) Great video thank you for keeping them coming!

I'm new to this game and have been watching your beginner's guide vids and they've helped me a lot. I play solo and I tend to use the admin panel a lot. I've stumbled on a thrall called "Ladagara Daughter of Ymir". Just wondering if you've ever tried her. Thanks again for these guides as they've helped me a lot.

@@AngaarUK I honestly don't know. I had inadvertently stumbled on her when looking for a Ymir priest in the admin panel, and yes at my age I'll do a little tweaking here and there. I was looking for a named priest so I could check out the wiki to find out where his/her location would be when I stumbled on her. Decided to install her to see what her stats were. Used the command prompt to level her up. At level 20 she's at over 26 thousand. Anyway I'm not going to justify my game play style, but just thought you might be interested in trying to find her.

at 29:07 you're looking at telith sorrow sword and it displays Health Damage within the knowledge search, and also i noticed when you were looking at legion armor it displayed the armor values.... what mod or setting are you using that allows you to do that? its pretty helpful

No mod, that was the default UI. Displays damage/armour values, just doesn't show you any on the bonuses it will give.

I've noticed for about my last 2-3 times I've been round the keep that he hasn't done that AOE attack. My sense of direction is terrible, I still get lost in the keep even after the amount of times i've done it 🤣

The thing with the Cannibal Brute isn't so much the damage multiplier which makes them so good in chapter 2, it's more that they have the perfect storm of overpoweredness. Since they're low level thralls, they have exceptionally good growth rates... it's not uncommon to get one with 100% growth chance in both strength and vitality, with at least 75% in the other two. Berserkers don't get anywhere near that. You're lucky if you get one stat pushing 75%, and that tends to lower the others to the 50-60% range. I suspect different thralls get a different pool of growth percentage points they can use between their stats, and the Darfari seems to have at least double that of the Berserker. Add to that they level extremely quickly, again because you get them very early on in the game, and you have a recipe for "Why use anything else?" I don't think just blanket nerfing the damage was the more interesting way to go though. It turns them from awesome to irrelevant in an instant. Sledgehammer to nut approach. It would have been way more interesting to alter their growth rates and stat weights. Maybe nerf the growth they get in vitality and grit. This would keep them in the "glass cannon" role. Maybe make it extremely hard to have them get over 1.5k health even with well trained and beneficial perks. Then you'd have an actual choice to make. Keep the monster damage but risk them getting killed extremely quickly, or go for someone more balanced but more tanky. Also double their levelling rates.

I tend to avoid Rotbranch as it does so much damage, you really need a well levelled top tier "friend" to be able to take it on.

I prefer to transmog my gear because 90% of the gear is horrendous looking..and the Skelos epic gear is really good..been using it almost the entire game from lvl 60..

Technically it's a bug fix, it was never intended for Cannibals to be this strong, use them wile it lasts :)

the dragonbone armor has more armor than the legion armor. what gives? i thought it was supposed to be an upgrade so tell me what i am missing? dragon has 400+ armor but legion only 385? what am i missing here? which one should i be using?

So Dragonbone does have slightly more armour than Silent Legion, 1200 over 1100. But at that level there is diminishing returns in damage reduction, so it is more about the stats and bonuses. The main advantage of the Redeemed Silent Legion armour is huge amount of both Heat and Cold protection, which means you can go anywhere in Exiled Lands without issue. For thralls you really want to mix and match the items that give the best Strength Weapon damage; so Redeemed Silent Legion Head, Dragonbone chest, Arena Champion chest, Godbreaker gloves and Perfected Heavy boots. Loads of armour and masses of damage 🤘😎🤘

The volcano named should be the best. It's a mistake that the typical high level tier 4 thralls are best. I leveled several named volcano thralls to 20 and they are crap compared to berserkers etc. That's broken. They should get the cannibal brutes dmg multipliers :)

Maybe not the damage multiplier but they definitely need a buff. I agree volcano thralls should be better than they are considering they barely beet vanir thralls.
