Hiya boss, been diving into this game and loving it so much following every video u have done throughout the adventure, just wanted to let u know i went for the set dude, and hes not here anymore and has instead turned into a head in a basket where the bonfire is with 2 gaurds gaurding him, not sure if u want to update this now but there is a gold like ship thing in the ground where u show he is standing and he is not there now and is instead where the bonfire is behind him and looks decapitated in a basket now. Cheers bud, looking forward to more my friend

I believe you can also get relics like the flesh of remembrance from purges, then learn religions that way.

So in my 3.0 series I have a base just outside the Den and got my first ever Followers of Jebbal Sag purge, where indeed I got some Flesh of Remembrance. You just keep learning in this game!!!

I built a similar pyramid structure with a 5x5 roof, and I did manage to squeeze in one of the smaller altars, I cant remember if it was the Yog pit or Zath.

Keep up the series. You are doing a fantastic job! My brother, brother in-law, and myself started playing a few months ago. Your series has been extremely helpful. Quick question, if you reset your feats with a potion do you lose any religions you learned? For example, I learned the Set religion at the start of the game and learned the religion of Mitra by killing a named priest of Mitra, if I reset my feats do I lose both religions, just the Mitra religion, or do I get to keep both? I know this probably doesn't matter when we make our way to the other religion trainers, but I haven't been able to find the answer anywhere. Also, I wasn't able to watch this whole video yet. If you answered my question in the video I apologize in advance.

No you won't loose anything you learned in game, just things you spent points on.

Jhebbal Sag you can learn if you kill any named Jhebbal Sag priests (idk if the piece of meat that you need to eat drops 100% but i found on all named Jebbal priests) and like i sayed on the brakets you eat the piece of meat they drop ... You also mentioned this for the other religion and idk why you sayed that the only way to learn the Jhebbal Sag religion is by completing the dungeon ... :D but your videos are actualy very good and wish you all the best Angaar!

I did mention that you can learn religions by killing a named T4 priest and using the relic they drop, which does apply to all the religions. What I was meaning is that there is no "trainer" you can go talk to in order to learn the religion like there are with the others and instead you need to complete the dungeon. Sorry if I wasn't clear :-(

@@AngaarUK You can buy or learn the potions from the hyena guy southwest of The Den. I was expecting to see his location included in the list of trainers (even tho he's not a trainer as such). I like using the potions of midnight as a way to harvest loads of hides for leather, and for a really convenient trip to Set City when you leave the dungeon.

So I built a Elevator to the left of the base going to the top of that very high Cliff, and put all the Alters up there. The elevator is surrounded by tier 3 Fence and 2 Zombies protecting it for the next Purge.

Hi, I'm loving your series, it's really got me to slow down and take my time and do things more consistently without having to rush. Although i do have one question, am i the only person that can't line up the Set altar perfectly? The front edge of it never lines up with the foundation lines properly, it always has to be one degree askew before i can put it down. I play on Xbox if that helps.

Thanks Dave. You do sometimes get weird support issues when placing things on foundations. I often tend to find it easier to line them up from the back instead. Also a pain that you can’t pick up the tier 1 alters if they place wrong, but at least they are not too expensive to craft

I've actually build a couple of stacked foundations a little bit away from the target - centered of course - then climb up and it seems to make it easier. 1st person view also helps - I play on PC so not sure what the differences are for you.

If you go to your Knowledge screen and then the Religion tab you will see which ones you already know.

I had built an altar back on noob river but couldn’t move the altar to new base, how do you move the altar ? I also had a low level priest on it

Sadly when they added the update that allowed us to pick up lots more items, alters are one of the few things that can't be moved.

If I was going to build a base In the jungle, what is the minimum tier building material I need to use so it doesn't get destroyed during a purge?

I believe the Jungle has mid level Purge's so would require Tier 2.

A harvesting tool? Why carry 21 foundations when you have to harvest 300 stone? Players HATE emptying their inventory, why? When you showed those human body parts weapons, I wish you had compared them to the stone equivalent weapons. Just to compare damage, and debuffs. I don't imagine these weapons being actually equal. Does crafting an avatar token still destroy the Arch priest? This was a very good episode. I always take Derketo, because my son hates traveling into the jungle. He takes Crom, because he thinks there would be a journey, or achievement. But he never found one, and only learned Jabel Sag once.

The foundations was to use for the alter bases and to show the 8 tiles distance, etc. As far as I know summoning the avatar does destroy everything in the alter inc. spare Manifestations and the priest :-(

Best advice I can give you is to ensure your drivers are up-to-date and go to the game properties in Steam, go to Local Files tab and select Verify Integrity of Game Files...

As to the distance of altars, my 3rd, and biggest base thru dumb luck had spots for all 7 religions circling it. Didn't know about the distance element till later. But between some tower distances and 3 natural rock spires that I plopped 3 down on, and one great spot in the middle of it all, got 7 beams of light shooting up. Love it. (And you should be able to guess the religion that is central to all others with the place of honor...) Side note, rendering issues, at a long distance only very rarely do the lights show up. When it happens it's pretty kool. Wonder why only sometimes?

@@AngaarUK Base has a large flat garden patio for a roof. Water fountain from Mitra, plants, other assorted pleasantries about. A few Panthers, Tigers and other cats lounging around. Wolves on guard duty. The various factions of the Exiled Lands well represented by the, ahem, best of them. Xanadu it's named. "In Xanadu did Kubla Khan a stately pleasure dome decree. Where Alph the Sacred river ran, in caverns measureless to man....but down that deep dark cavern where woman wailed for her demon lover" S T Cooleridge Yes, Derketo has found a place in my home away from home...

If you go into your Knowledge page, go to the religion section, and you can see which one has already been learned. Or use your Construction Hammer and you will see which alter is available to craft

Thank you so much for making these. I have tried playing this game about a year ago and just kept getting in a death loop trying to get my stuff back. It made me delete the game. I have recently got back into it and your videos make this game so much better to play. I don't have a lot of time to game anymore, so listening to this while I am at work helps me save time so I can actually play when I get home. Thank you for not only the video, but for describing what you are doing so I can hear at work and not have to stop and look every few seconds.
