All the different altars are giving your base a real cosmopolitan vibe! Also, if you take the path along Klael's Stronghold and cut through the Unnamed City, the Tower of Bats is right across the river!

Hey Angaar! Love the series, I've watched it from the beginning. Thank you! One question: it seems you've held onto the reptile (dregs) armor for quite a while. Is there a reason for that, like does it give extra damage being in medium vs heavy? Do you use vanir/heavy for yourself, or only for thralls?

Thx for watching. I like medium armour as a compromise between the protection and weight/manoeuvrability. However the stats on armour has changed with the 3.0 update so is no longer the armour I would wear for my stats. However with the new illusion system if you like the look of an armour set you can always make an armour with better stats look like it.

Very nice video as always Angaar! it would be so great if someone would actualy made a big budget movie from this story ... I would love to see an actual series of an exile figuring and getting out of the exile lands ... that way would actualy let room for another one in the bigger lands of the conan world. But at the same time, if i think it through, i almost don't want because of the state of hollywood right now and not to forget that usualy movies made after games are not good at all with some exceptions, and i don't see a charismatic actor that would play the main char as good as Arnorld did in the OG movies ... Maybe Hanry Cavill ... maybe...

Maybe, I am not a big fan of the Siptah map so don't have as much knowledge of where to go and what to do, so I would need help. We will see how we get on with the current series and when 3.0 is coming out.

I also like the idea of a The Exiled Lands movie. I recently saw TV show being filmed in front of a Massive Curved LCD screen. So we could see the real game world, and mobs if this technology was used. As for actors, Jason Momoa as Conan, duh. I would like to see a four exile clan made of Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L Jackson, Salma Hayek, and Blake Lively. This could be an Awesome move, and cast. But no one would pay for it. Ryan would be the first to day, "Hey! We're in The F'ing Exiled Lands!" Then proceed to level like a pro. Henry Cavill would also do good, but he's quickly approaching 50. So they better hurry.

@@AngaarUK We aren't fans of IoS either, we only played it three times, but watched some play throughs. What we can say is that the NE starting zone is best for finding Feral Dog Pups. The NE river is the best for an Exiled Lands player. The SE is poor for pets, but good for gold, and silver. And making a way to Rhinos, and Elephants. On our third play through we made our first base in the center of the East map to have access to both good starting pets, and good resources. The beach is noob river. Just like Exiled Lands, elevation is used to progress to higher levels. But the Exiled Lands may have four to six changes in elevation per ten levels, IoS has one. When we played there weren't static Armourer spawns, I think that has changed. Those things that spawn random T1-T3 thralls are ten to twenty thrall camps. Don't think there are any one to three thrall spawns. But I must be wrong about that. We made the mistake of building with Sandstone our first try in the SE zone. This had lots of free waterskins (three), and lots of starting resources boxes. There is lots of pick-up wood, but little plant fiber, and stone (see loot boxes, and near ugly hyena, and ostrich type birds). There are no Shalebacks, so no starting tank. The dogs are light to medium dps. As always get light armour ASAP, then a feral dog pup from north shore (literally top of map, not the east side). Then ironstone, and medium armour. Brimstone (like shattered spring type) can be found along the NE zones river heading in. Expect hyena, crocodile, and bear. Oh the west side is more like the un-named city, skeletons, and glowy people. There is a static spawn of greater feral dog pups, a legendary weapon drop, and other goodies. But my son says the West map is more like a level 30+ zone. Good luck.

great video and I would like to thank you for "taking a staff up the tower of bats" for us, it sounds very uncomfortable. Just one point, the gorillas etc are apes not monkeys. It doesn't bother me too much but the Librarian of the Unseen University has been known to get very 'demonstrative' while explaining the difference. Wouldn't want you to experience something worse than a staff up your tower of bats 😉

Hey Angaar, I noticed that you switched to using Axe - in fact the same axe as I do, it's got good damage and some armor penetration which is the one thing missing from all other axes. What kind of upgrade/mod did you use on it? Also, great video as always!

So this video was recorded pre-3.0 update, so all the stats are different now. However I am wearing the normal Reptilian Armour you learn from the Dregs dungeon with the Reaver's Axe and Black Bruargh's Fury shield (both legendary items from world boss chests. Dalinsia is wearing normal Hyperborean Slaver heavy armour with a Brittle B*st*rd legendary mace. I tend to go into these dungeons over-prepared, so you could take this on with lesser gear as it is not that hard!

I just prefer Dalinsia due to her high HP and massive damage. The armour I am wearing is the Reptilian set learned in the Dregs episode. Good to hear you are enjoying it. A private server with friends is the best way to play 😎

I think you skipped a part between the bat demon and witch queen, the map room/archivist part, aren't you supposed to do that after the bat demon? At least my staff talks about map room amd archivist and trying to figure out where the hell they are and how to get there and somehow this vid popped up..

the fences only hurt when something climbs on them, and NPCs do not climb. to hurt NPCs, palisades should be used.

I've always had fun playing this. But unfortunately the community for console has always been nearly non existent. Simply no where near enough players out there to warrant putting actual time into a server since nothing ever happens.

That's a shame, it can be hard to find a community with the same requirements as you on PC too. Couple of Facebook groups that are work reaching out on as "Conan Exiles, PC, Xbox, PSN" and "Official Conan Exiles Community-Xbox/PC/PS4". Might be able to find a group on there?
