One notable aspect of this DLC is its true survival nature; it literally places you in the heart of the wilderness without guidance on where to go, unlike the Exile Lands, which progressively increase in difficulty.

Nice stream as always. Thank. I so wish that the Exiled Lands had a small beginner Noob area newbies to mess about in and when at level 10-12 they can get to the main lands which would be challenging throughout.

4:11 on that red tower you have two loot chests and on the other side ( where the dog is..) you have a perfect little cave for a start. :) along the coast to the north you can find several sunken ships under water with loot chests (gold and silver mostly...)

Yes this is always where i build my first base, usually you cannot build there i guess but you can setup the server to build anywhere and by adding LBPR you are really free to di anything and it's great. I think i must have played Siptah at least 10 times if not more and i'm actually playing it. I think i could play it eyes closed now 😁. Very nice to see someone starting a new guide, this game is great and deserve more people playing it. The south of the main island is quite easy, the center can be hard if you are cought in the maelström and the southern island is really hard. Especially the Grey Ones, they were quite easy some time ago but now they are the worst thing you can encounter, worse than the accursed. To give you an idea being level 60 with a epic heavy armor and 600 health points i can get killed in one combo by these guys if i don't pay attention. So at mid level, if you get hit, you are dead! And a little tip, if you want the best weapons, you need to visit the cave under the Grey one settlement deep south, you will find there chests with some GreyOnes weapons that are the best in the game. There is nobody there, you just need to carefully swim along the coast and search the cave (bottom right of K4 on the map))

I've always enjoyed the start of the game. There's something about the rush of trying to collect and craft enough gear to at least survive the first 24 hours! With new games I sometimes just start over and over. One of the ways I judge a game is by how different the experience is on a new start. PS. I expect many of the tips in this will be applicable across all maps.

@@AngaarUK The thing with most games is that there is a point where the early game becomes too easy because you know what to expect. In this game, even on Noob River, you can still run into a corrupted crocodile or worse...

@Major-Dan true, but easy to run away from them or jump in the river 😂 Compared to something like Ark where you spawn in and can get killed instantly by a mosquito or dilo 😲 🤘😎🤘

Best place to start for me and my secret is out, I farm the chest every start and yes you can get hardened steel weapons sometimes. Close to black ice, gold and silver nodes, if you know where to look.

Thanks for some nice starter tips - it's not easy to do a Siptah guide because, as you said, nobody is a beginner if they have bought this expansion map. But you've given some good tips here. Only question I have is; What religion does everyone recommend for this map? I don't know where the trainers are or how difficult they are to get to.

It kicks in at level 10, so we should start getting attacked in the next episode, but doubt we will be high enough level to take on the champions by the time the event ends on the 28th. However there is a video all about this in my Beginner’s Guide 23/24 playlist, Episode 40 🤘😎🤘

@@yasyas2255 sadly I am done with Ark, unless they put some serious effort into optimising the game to get it running better. Not sure about Valheim, I did offer it as one of the options for the latest stream series but people wanted more Conan Exiles. So maybe next time 🤘😎🤘

crap , why do i always get stuck on the journey thing with not being able to get past robbing a corpse with a stone tool lol , ive tried a pickaxe a skinning knife an axe all stone but still no joy , any tips guys

Is that the Harvest a Corpse with a Tool stage? Are you completely harvesting the corpse until it disappears? That should do it

I know why they do it but it always strikes me funny when games like this don't differentiate between salt and fresh water for drinking. Considering you're on the beach of an ocean that water shouldn't have a s*** some negative effects on your character.😂
