I’m on a binge right now. I enjoyed some of this things as a kid but kind of fell off. Now I’m trying to play catch up. Wish I had realized sooner smh.

*Those headphones are exactly what I expected from Louie Anderson...*
@NikkiCox813 жыл бұрын
Yep, I think I would have been slightly disappointed if he had airpods.
@Lanhoj3 жыл бұрын
When he's told he'll need headphones for Zoom, I can hear him saying (in his usual loving/yelling way) " *Christine* , bring me the disk man from the attic. I'll use its headphones. *Christine* , the disk man, it's in the attic." . . . Before you comment on my spelling, yes, I think he calls a *Discman* a "disk man".

I bumped into him in an elevator I called only to lock around 8 pm on a wednesday three years ago. Elevator was packed - Louie and at least four other people, small elevator in chinatown. I just said, "Oh! Hello Mr Anderson." And awkwardly closed the door. I heard him say "What the eff?" before they went two floors up lol

Louie has been my favorite comedian since I first saw him on Carson in the 80’s. My children and I memorized all his HBO specials, and to this day, we do bits from all of them. He brought laughter to some dark times in my life. I love him so much, I cried when I found out Baskets was no longer filming. Be well, Louie ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

I lived in Ames, Iowa for 2.5 years during graduate school. During this time I explored Ames, Boone, Nevada, and the neighbouring central Iowan towns, making friends with the locals. Louie's mother is the perfect description of dozens of my dear older Midwestern friends, who were all incredible mother figures to this weird eccentric brown fella. Cheers, Louie. Would love to share a Tuna Casserole with ya.

So nice to see the comments mostly full of people praising and loving Louie. He's an older comic and I figured there would be a lot of people now days thinking who is this old guy, and not getting his humor but I am so glad I was wrong. I love Louie and so glad he was on Baskets and him playing a woman was perfect. Almost hard to see him not as a woman now haha. He owned that role. I also loved his cartoon in the 90's... Life with Louie. Such a great show. I honestly wish I could just hang out with Louie, like have him around everyday just to hear him talk about life and his childhood and his family. Seems like it would be so fun to be around him every day.
