My Dad and I would always watch his animated series Life with Louie every Saturday morning in the 90s. Rest in peace, Louie.
@MrDoomed812 жыл бұрын
In the cartoon his dad told him to change the channel on the TV, Louie gets up grabs a pair of pliers and manually turns the dial...... I'VE actually done this back in the 80's as a little kid.....never forgot that, R.I.P Louie.

There’s such a tenderness to this man! Always sweet always likeable always real to the core! Comedy and sadness are so closely entwined that at times tears can happen during his monologues! Happy yet feel sad when he performs. Don’t know why? Was so talented!

I'm on a Louie Anderson's interviews marathon right now. He's so adorable and being funny comes so easy to him, naturally hilarious guy. Love him!!
@fenixcreciente85767 жыл бұрын
Psyberologist - Actually, from everything I've read & heard by him, like so many comedians he has cultivated his great sense of humor & also empathy out of an abundance of sorrow forced on him by his life's circumstances.
@Psyberologist7 жыл бұрын
Totally agree. Somehow, life tragedies and good sense of humor are always intertwined when it comes to comedians, especially the great ones. But what I meant was that he has that certain spark that either people have or don't, has a quick wit, he doesn't have to try hard to be funny, he just is. :)

I'm regret to say that I'm viewing Louie's death through rose colored glasses. I'm a avid comedy fan. Sadly I put Louie in my "comedians that bug me category." So I never gave him the attention I should have. I wish I didn't have to wait until he died to realize that he was truly a comedic genius. RIP Louie, to all the future fans that have yet to find you RIP
