Watching this makes you realize just how long Conan's been around

If you listen to Conan now, he always says he had no idea what he was doing back in 93 when his show started. This interview aired way before there was even a question of him being a hoster, he was just a writer. Yet he is so natural and well spoken, it is clear he did in fact know what he was doing and was meant to become one of the late night greats!

Conan always looks jealous when Steve talks about working with Letterman.
@VanillatheRabbitLady983 жыл бұрын
Well that was because he had auditioned to be a writer for Letterman but got turned down. Even Letterman admitted that that was our loss. Although imagine if it had been the other way around.
@EtoCobra Жыл бұрын
@@VanillatheRabbitLady98 By judging Conan's work ethic, he may become Letterman's head writer or something. I can't determine if he would ever get a shot as a host, but imagine him as the first host of the Late Late Show. A very different line of hosts after him would exist. I have read that Colbert has applied for Conan's Show, but got turned down. I don't know much about Colbert to make a prediction.

have nothing against the other celebs that were on this show but is this channel ever going to show the Dick Cavett shows where he interviews Jackie Gleason or Art Carney? How about any Honeymooners actors that were part of the main cast? These are rarities much like the other ones.
