Conan was part of the Tonight Show/Late Night slot on CNBC Europe every Saturday and Sunday from 8Pm-10Pm Saturdays had two episodes of The Tonight Show (Leno - boke) , then one episode of Late Night with Conan and on Sunday one ep of Leno and 2 eps of Conan. They used to edit the monologue out of one of the shows so all 3 eps would fit in the 2 hour timeslot. I used to be livid when they'd edit Conan's monologue instead of Leno's😂

We had 2 TV channels and they aired until 11.30pm. Midnight on weekends. We were deprived 🤣

Yeah I used to watch the Daily Show: International Edition or whatever it was called on a Friday. It was just clips from throughout the week. It wasn't until KZbin that I discovered Letterman etc

This is exactly how I discovered Conan as well, it was the late '90s and early 2000's (La Bamba's In the Year 2000 still pops into my head ocasionally :D). I don't remember it being 3 episodes, though, I'm pretty sure it was 2 whole episodes, but it might have been a different channel or something...

I thought his comment at the very end of the interview was so sweet. He thanked Conan for having an unusual sense of humor that inspired an online community of like minded people, and how that community was so comforting for him as a young kid who felt different.

Here in ireland there was a channel called 3e and it use to show conan shows a month after it ared in the states thats how i found out about conan . It was on around 12:30 am but great summer nights i remember back in 2012

Well, in my professional opinion, i think you should travel to Boston, and try visiting one of numerous Irish pubs and simply yelling for him in your best irish brogue, sayin: Ey, Conan! Ey Conan O'Brien, ye fekin eejit, where be at? Some one will get him if he is nearby or they will send you to try the next Irish pub! I wish you the Luck O' the Irish (it never helped them much) and tell them Mick sent ya! They'll know who yer talkin bout!

@@ClayChiarelott No there really haven't been. Maybe a few here and there. It's not an insult to the people they selected, but it was clear they were just picking people in locations that Conan may visit for the travel show. When the fan episodes started there were always very interesting people
