11.45 my favorite part of the whole movie soundtrack. Looked for over 30years for it outside the movie. Finally got it today. The scenery in the movie too was excellent.

I've heard the original soundtrack recordings conducted by Basil a million times so I'll always prefer it the way HE conducted them, BUT I can't stop smiling having just found this music :themes pulled from the movie missing from the original CDs. love it

I've never sat down and listened to the Destroyer OST but it really is amazing and almost as good as the original, even better in places. I love this arrangement aswell - beautiful.

@@evenstrength the superior soundtrack at that. This one has its moments, considering it was composed by Poledouris, but much like the movie itself, it is overshadowed by the first score.

Infelizmente, Basil faleceu em 2006 com 61 anos. O câncer que o matou afetou muito a sua carreira. Se estivesse vivo, com boa saúde e ativo, estaria pau a pau com o John Williams, que é, hoje, o maior compositor de trilhas sonoras vivo. As composições de Basil deixam as de Hans Zimmer no chinelo. A riqueza melódica é muito superior.

Sadly, Basil passed away in 2006 at the age of 61. The cancer that killed him greatly affected his career. If he were alive, in good health and active, he would be neck and neck with John Williams, who is, today, the greatest living score composer. Basil's compositions put Hans Zimmer's compositions to shame. The melodic richness is far superior.
